SUMMARY: The Tool Crib Attendant III controls inventory of CNC tools, and fixtures needs by the CNC Machinist. Monitors and updates tools needed by the machine shop. Analyzes inventory levels, and shipment schedules that determine reorder levels and ensure tool availability and minimize inventory costs. Maintains and updates inventory system. Creates and reviews reports to identify trends or issues and to support or initiate actions or adjustments. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verify that material and paperwork for the job being performed is correct

Maintaining Inventory of all used tools to ensure they are on hand when needed

Maintaining inventory of all used tools with life expectancy left

Maintaining inventory of all tool holders

Maintaining inventory of all fixturing for the machines and CMM

Maintaining tool kits with proper tools, tool holders, fixtures etc.

Deliver kits to setup personnel prior to the need of the setup and operations of the machines

Maintain Tool Crib System with accuracy

Engage with suppliers and internal experts to enhance tool life and tool selection

Resolves quantity discrepancies

Adhere to all company safety policies including the use of eye protection.

Perform all functions of the job while adhering to established quality policies and procedures

Uphold the company core values

Other duties as assigned

Must be capable of working with minimal supervision.

Must have organizational skills to keep accurate records of tools and fixture locations

Must have basic computer skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-5 years of related experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

REASONING ABILITY Prioritize activities and work under pressures at all times.

Comply with safety standard procedures

Be able to differentiate between a symptom and a root of the problem

Open to change and improvements

Maintain clean and organized workspace
