Forklift Operator

Job Description

Position Summary: To operate a stand-up Reach Truck for the purpose of selecting items from warehouse racks to fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a sit down forklift

Using a product pull sheet, pull items from warehouse racks in order to fulfill customer orders

Transport pulled orders to the proper department for processing & packaging

Load & unload trucks or customer vehicles

Utilize an RF Scanner when necessary

Perform inventory counts when instructed

Assist with shipping and receiving operations when requested

Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations orderly

Sort and arrange materials by organizational standards

Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear at all times

Qualifications:

One to two years of warehouse related experience

Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player

Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed

Experience with Reach truck, Forklift and Order Picker required

Prior Certification to Operate is a PLUS

Hours: Monday through Friday (some weekends)

Days: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (will also come in early to start)
