Alpha Machine, LLC. located in Rincon GA, is looking for a Tool Room Attendant to join our team. The Attendant will support the department to ensure tooling is on-hand and ready for the next job, along with general shop support where needed. Duties and Expectations:

· Experience with machine shop tooling such as: Endmills, Taps, Reamers, Carbide Inserts, Thread Mills, and Drills is required.

Duties

· Prepare tools and tool holders from tool sheet for CNC Machinist.

· Disassemble tool holders returned from the shop, inspect tools for wear and ensure they are ready for use.

· Receives, stores, and issues fixtures, machine tools, etc., and maintains records of tools issued and returned.

· Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.

· Maintains tooling inventory and replenishes inventory by ordering new tools when necessary.

· Maintains shop supplies (oils, abrasives, coolant, etc.) and request stock when needed.

· Maintain tool crib and fixture storage to be in a clean, orderly, and well-maintained condition.

· Performs daily check of machine coolant and concentration level.

· Must be self-motivated.

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision to complete daily tasks.

· Operate a Forklift.

· Maintain the shop to be neat, clean, organized and perform other duties as assigned.

· Perform light building maintenance.

· Prior machine shop experience or machine shop tooling sales is required.
