We have a position for an experienced Vehicle Management Software Development Engineer to develop vehicle management software including control, sensing, and safety algorithms.

What you will be doing:

Develop vehicle management software including control, sensing, and safety algorithms

Debug and Test embedded systems using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes and multimeters

Study product requirements and create functional requirements for embedded system design

Conduct feasibility studies for requested features before confirming functional requirements

Create and maintain technical documentation including design, test, and test result documents

Investigate and resolve reported issues with device firmware.

Update and resolve MISRA related issues

What you'll need to be successful:

Requires BS in Electrical Engineering,

Experience in firmware design

Embedded C Programming Experience

Development experience on microcontroller platforms, namely Renesas processors, required

Experience with vehicle communication protocols such as J1939 or CANOpen preferred

Experience with CAN Bus tools such as Vector CANAlyzer and others preferred

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:

4+ years of professional experience required

Excellent problem-solving skills

Good knowledge of version control systems

Strong oral and written communication skillsPython development or other scripting language experience preferred

Python development or other scripting language experience preferred

Proficient with test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment
