Job Description

TEKsystems is looking for qualified residential installation technicians. Join one of the strongest home security companies.

Must be able to use their own vehicle to travel from job to job on a daily basis. Able to carry and transport a ladder, has basic hand tools, and able to maintain proper security systems inventory organized

This is a six month contract to hire.

Residential installation technician. Responsible for installing ADT Command systems for burglary/home monitoring/automation (70% of installations). Will be responsible for wiring and programming new systems at homes. Potential for some small business work as well. Looking for someone with prior residential alarm install experience. Home phone/cable/internet install experience from a cable/mso. Customer service is huge. Need to be personable, and comfortable interacting with customers.

Excellent customer service. Comfortable in customer facing role/ personable. Self-starter that wants to learn new technologies. Tech savvy overall. Problem solver.

Top Skills' Details

1. Cabling Experience. Residential cable/internet/phone install experience. Commercial structured cabling experience is a plus.

2. Programming Experience. Fire/Burg/CCTV/Access control install major plus.
