Your responsibilities will include:

User Maintenance & Support:

Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, managing user accounts, resetting passwords, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Support the ALIS, ODIN, and MPSE systems, including account creation and modification.

Provide technical support for Mission Planning/Debriefing, assisting pilots in mission-related activities.Data Management & System Support:

Maintain, store, and coordinate data across ALIS, ODIN, and MPSE systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Oversee the maintenance of COTS, GOTS, and Custom Applications, and manage system software for network and support operations.

Manage and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring data accuracy and security, and contribute to auditing and compliance activities.

Provide continuous improvement strategies, track software versions, and ensure system security through regular patching and updates.Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery:

Manage backup and restore procedures, ensuring the recovery of Oracle and MS SQL databases in case of data loss or corruption.Training & Knowledge Transfer:

Deliver on-the-job training to RAAF Administrators, providing subject matter expertise and supporting operational expectations.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Significant experience in system administration, hardware/software management, and incident management.Desirable Experience:

Experience in the defence industry or working within a project environment.

Proven ability to guide, mentor, and train team members.

Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Certification.

About you:

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the F-35 program by managing ALIS, ODIN, and MPSE systems. Your role includes providing first-line user support, maintaining system configurations, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring secure data management in compliance with Australian security policies. You’ll also oversee data management, backup/restoration procedures, and system configuration to enhance productivity and maintain system integrity. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will mentor RAAF Administrators and guide system operations, ensuring smooth deployment and optimal performance.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
