Program Manager (ITSS Port Hueneme)

The IT Program Manager will provide project coordinator support for SRF Code 109, Information Technology and Cybersecurity, and will be responsible for supporting projects from initiation to closure to Ship Repair Facility-Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Yokosuka and Carrier Project Team for NAVSUP FLC Puget Sound.

Performance Requirements: Project Management Support Meet with Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) stakeholders to take detailed requests and clarify specific requirements.

Maintain various documents supporting the project, such as project charters, project management plans, communications management plans, project schedules, executive level summaries, supporting documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOP) and manuals.

Track project performance, and coordinate with all stakeholders, including customers and SRF-JRMC 109 staff, to overcome operational and technical obstacles, ensuring that work is completed within budget and deadlines.

Review, validate and scope all work requests; assist engineers in assignment of work order priorities, identify project funding timelines, evaluate requests for urgency, and refer plan and professional judgment to management with recommended level of priority for project development.

Produce meeting agenda, supporting documents, minutes, and archive/distribute as necessary.

Program Management Support Designate the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a Program.

Review and validate requests, prioritize work, follow up to ensure accountability, coordinate cross functional requirements across division boundaries, and recommend project/work priorities.

Assess program performance and objectives, and provide technical services for all matters related to program planning and execution.

Review, create, and update Program Management documentation per SRF-JRMC Project Management Office policy.

Programs may be related, but are not limited to – Project Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Process Improvement and Training.
