Operations Support Specialist

The successful candidate will be part of the T&O Support Team. Operation Support Specialist is responsible for being the central point of contact at T&O Operations, for a wide range of clients, i.e. Private Clients, Assets Managers (EAM, LOAM), Global Custody or other departments (Risk, Audit, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations). He/she coordinates transversal and complex cases to ensure the smooth running of our Operations department.

YOUR ROLE

Process and monitor all incomings and outgoing payment, adhering to the stipulated cut off time

Monitor securities trade settlement and fail trade management, providing assistance and advice on the subject matters

Reconcile and monitor cash, securities positions and internal accounts on a daily basis, ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancy

Coordinate with internal parties to process portfolio/ securities transfer involving different asset classes

Liaise with Front Office and other internal units pertaining to clients’ queries

Research and resolve daily inquiries from internal and external groups

Participate in projects to enhance the operations efficiency and stability

Coordinate with Group Operations and other related teams to resolve booking issues

Provide subject matter expertise in terms of bookings and transaction flow

Perform monthly and quarterly fees calculation

Perform and support call-back verification

Support the Client Life Cycle Team on account closure

Monitor and submit transaction reports for regulatory reporting purposes

Achieve and maintain operational excellence in adherence to internal policy and procedures

Support the Head of the Operations in ad hoc tasks and assignments

Present the available solutions, explaining the operational specificities

Monitor operational processes and the adequate completion of transactions

Develop and maintain wide expertise across all banking operation areas

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

At least 5 years of professional and relevant experience within Private Banking Operations or Private Banking Middle Office

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Proficient in financial products - Equity, Fixed income, Derivatives, Options, FOREX, Money Market

Strong payment knowledge preferred

Knowledge of regulatory trade reporting preferred

Strong interpersonal skills with positive attitude

Meticulous, quality-driven, open-minded and willing to learn

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and self-motivated, problem solver, team player and results oriented

Able to work independently and across various teams, intuitive and a quick learner

Utilise excellent communication skills, being client-oriented and showing empathy

Work efficiently under pressure

Work in a regulatory, risks and controls environment
