InspireSemi is developing multi-thousand core accelerators for high-performance computing, scientific, and AI applications.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform schematic design and PCB layout for our compute accelerator, test fixtures, and other products. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers to design, simulate, and produce PCBs including high-speed digital interfaces and advanced power delivery systems.
Job Responsibilities
PCB design of PCIe compute accelerator cards, test fixtures, backplanes and motherboards
Schematic design of memory, peripheral and power conversion subsystems
Signal integrity verification
Basic mechanical and thermal considerations
Board bring-up, debug and characterization in the laboratory
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with PCB layout and schematic software such as Allegro or Altium
Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe and DDR
Experience in analog and digital circuit design, analysis, and simulation
Experience with scripting and programming e.g., Python, TCL, Skill
Ability to use lab equipment, oscilloscopes and analyzers
Ability to both work independently and collaborate with others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications
BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Experience designing GPU, FPGA, or other compute accelerator cards or motherboards
Experience designing power converters, including multiphase POL voltage regulators
Experience designing flip-chip IC package substrates
Experience with signal integrity verification tools
