Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines using Mozaik Cabinetry Software to fabricate precision parts according to specifications. We will be using images and data of typical furniture pieces and finding solutions for the design process that is most effective. This role requires a strong understanding of geometry, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency in Mozaik software and experience with furniture, design, CAD, etc. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our production processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines using Mozaik Cabinetry software.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.

Utilize software skills to streamline workflow of designing custom pieces of furniture in Mozaik.

Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot programming issues and improve production workflows.

Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while operating machinery.

Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and production records.

Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Train and mentor junior staff on CNC programming techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in CNC programming, particularly with Mozaik Software.

Strong understanding of geometry and blueprint reading skills. AutoCAD is a plus.

Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance.

Proficiency in Mozaik software is required

Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract, Temporary, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
