Are you passionate about pioneering innovations in the semiconductor industry? At Falcomm, we are on a mission to transform semiconductor technologies into tangible, real-world solutions. We specialize in crafting energy-efficient RF products that set the standard for excellence in performance. As an RFIC Test Engineer, you will perform tests on Power Amplifiers, LNAs, and other circuits on-chip. Additional responsibilities will include developing test methodologies, documenting test and calibration procedures, and automating test processes. Your role will be instrumental in characterizing and validating products that not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations.
We need a BSEE or MSEE with at least two years of experience in RF/mmWave Test and Characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits up to 100GHz in frequency range. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects, and is motivated by the challenge of creating real-world applications of semiconductor innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform tests on power amplifiers, LNAs, and other circuits on-chip
Maintain the Falcomm RF test lab and develop processes for lab use
Set up the RF test bench for measurements and conduct manual on-wafer/on-die probing
Perform characterization of device performance on RFIC devices
HTOL and temperature testing
Design test fixtures and circuit boards
Analyze test data and prepare characterization report
Develop test data processing scripts
Validate setups by comparing setup performance to a standard
Maintain calibrated test stations (including backups) to minimize down time
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or MSEE) or related field
2+ years of experience in RF/mmWave test and characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits. Frequency ranges between 1 and 100 GHz are part of test portfolio with specific experience setting up measurements and manual on-wafer probing.
Understanding of RF theory and standard test practices.
Hands-on experience with operation and/or programming of on-wafer test equipment such as semiconductor analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
Demonstrated ability to test and characterize the following: RF/mmWave Power Amplifiers based on CMOS, SOI, and compound semiconductors, RF/mmWave TX and RX integrated circuits, and RF/mmWave TX and RX blocks
