Senior Mill Machinist (contract)

REQUIRED:

Diploma or GED with 6 - 20 years machining experience in MFG environments

Exp with mills and or lathes

Exp performing 3-4-axis programming user Mastercam is required

able to read and interpret drawings (GDT)

Willing and able to set up machines DUTIES:

Sets up and operates milling machines

Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized attachments, tooling;

Plans sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup;

Determines, sets, and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut;

Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications;

Use hand tools / measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators

Uses shop math and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points

Must perform own setups and be able to determine sequence of operations.
