Venkateshwara Enterprises Pty Ltd t/as Nilgiris Supermarket operates a vibrant grocery store specialising in Indian subcontinental and Fijian food and household products. Our store is a go-to destination for quality spices, specialty items, fresh produce, and culturally relevant groceries that cater to the diverse needs of the local community.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Retail Manager who is passionate about multicultural food retail and understands the unique demands of running a specialty grocery store. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day store operations and contribute to the continued success of our business.

Location: Liverpool NSW 2170

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $78,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.

Key ResponsibilitiesL

- Lead, manage and oversee daily retail operations, staff, and inventory.

- Maintain excellent customer service and build strong community and vendor relationships.

- Monitor stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and manage product displays.

- Hire, train, supervise, and support team members.

- Develop plans and budgets to meet sales targets.

- Develop strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

- Ensure the store complies with all safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

- Full time experience as a Retail Manager of at least 1 year.

- Strong knowledge of Subcontinental and Fijian grocery products.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and staff rosters.

- Customer service-focused with a friendly and approachable manner.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

- Full time rights to work in Australia.
