Responsibilities:

Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for new equipment and services.

Maintain full accountability for sales within the territory.

Plan, develop, implement and follow up on sales activity including key account strategies and other sales development activities.

Independently explore new opportunities and follow up proactively.

Lead technical and process related discussions with Subject Matter Experts at customer sites.

Coordinate customer visits to the company's facilities for the purposes of technical discussions and product demonstration.

Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current sales trends, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, and analyzing and customer reactions.

Continually improve subject matter knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in applicable professional organizations.

Support marketing activities by documenting tactics of competitors. Participate in development of new sales support material.

Work within the company's Business Units to qualify, develop, and close opportunities. Maintain close working relationships to drive activity and results.

Provide regular reporting of activities including forecasts and call reports. Qualifications:

4 year University Degree (Level 7 or equivalent) in Science, Engineering, or Business.

Proven field sales experience and/or other commercial experience in related technologies. At least 5 years direct sales experience is desired.

Strong emphasis on the ability to listen and present appropriate technical solutions.

Technical sales experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing highly desirable.

Willingness to engage in regular travel in the region according to business needs (up to 50%)

Excellent oral presentation and technical writing as well as solid project management skills.

Ability to self-motivate and prioritize activities independently.
