About the Job:

As our Capital Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team and senior leadership on business development and fundraising initiatives, enable a robust sales intelligence and research process for expansion strategies, manage relationships with current and prospective investors, and serve as an analytical partner across the organization.

This role involves preparing reports, conducting research and providing insights, driving investor communications, owning LP reporting workstreams, and supporting fundraising and investor engagement activities. You will also provide analytical support for Redesign’s 5+ VC funds, spanning 60+ healthcare companies, while assisting in other core Strategy & Finance processes, including portfolio reporting and quarterly valuations.

In this role you will report to Redesign’s Head of Capital Development based in New York, NY. This is a highly visible and cross-functional role, in which you will interact closely with the entire Strategy & Finance and portfolio management organizations, as well as operating company CEOs and Redesign investors.

You must be willing to work hours that overlap 5 hours per day with Eastern Standard Time.

The role will be working in a hybrid model out of the Redesign Health Bengaluru office.

What you’ll do:

Investor Relations Support:

Assist in the development and execution of the firm’s investor relations strategy.

Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, investor presentations, and newsletters.

Manage and maintain the investor database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information.

Make recommendations on changes to existing Investor Relations processes and systems to improve team efficiency and quality of information shared with LPs.

Coordinate and attend investor meetings, calls, and events.

Respond to investor inquiries in a timely and professional manner, looping in the appropriate internal team members as needed.

Investor Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare reports on company and fund performance, financial and valuation models, and benchmarking analyses for investors.

Analyze fund performance metrics, industry trends, and competitive positioning.

Leverage financial and structuring expertise to drive alignment between various audiences, including Redesign investors, Redesign executives and portfolio company management teams

Assume ownership of key finance/fundraising workstreams, including portfolio reporting and the production of compelling investor materials

Create and/or improve existing processes of collecting operating company data (including financials, operational KPIs, and board materials), working with our Portfolio Management team and company CEOs.

Marketing & Fundraising Support:

Drive the preparation of marketing materials for prospective investors.

Support the execution of fundraising campaigns and capital-raising initiatives, including market mapping, prospecting lists, and standard DDQ items

Track investor pipeline activity in Redesign’s CRM and provide regular updates and insights to senior management.What you’ll need:

6+ years of experience in investment banking or consulting.

Additional experience in investor relations or strategic finance at a venture/growth equity-backed business is preferred

Fluency in financial modeling with strong understanding of fund terms and structures, and valuation methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
