A prospective nursery in Salmaniya is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead the establishment and operational setup of our early childhood education center.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a progressive curriculum, recruiting and managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for infants and toddlers.
Key Responsibilities: Nursery Setup & Management: -Oversee the overall establishment of the nursery, including facility setup, compliance with local regulations, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children.
-Develop operational policies, procedures, and schedules aligned with early childhood education best practices.
Curriculum Development: -Design and implement an innovative, developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates both indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
-Incorporate modern pedagogical strategies and regularly review and update the curriculum based on educational research and feedback.
Staff Recruitment & Management: -Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of teachers and support staff.
-Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment through regular team meetings, professional development sessions, and performance evaluations.
Stakeholder Engagement: -Establish strong relationships with parents, local community partners, and regulatory bodies.
-Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the nursery’s vision, curriculum, and daily activities.
Financial & Administrative Oversight: -Assist in budgeting, managing operational costs, and implementing cost-effective practices.
-Monitor enrollment and ensure the nursery meets its financial and educational goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and regulatory requirements in Bahrain.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Passion for creating a nurturing and enriching environment for young children.
