Description:

Seeking highly technical Expert PM with Cogito certification and Epic business intelligence development experience to lead the team of Business Intelligence Developers on an EHR build project for DHHS DSOHF facilities.

Job Description:

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH COGITO CERTIFICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED.

The Analytics Project Manager oversees the EHR Analytics Team and performs the administration of Epic Cogito, Radar, and Workbench analytic tools. This position is responsible for the overall success of analytics and for coordinating analytics tasks across all EHR and third-party applications. This position also provides additional coordination and communication for the assigned team. Reports to the EHR Program Management Office (PMO) Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the scope, schedule, and quality of the project in their specific application area or team

Develop and maintain project plans according to State and NCDHHS IT project management methodology

Set clear expectations for team members

Work closely with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and other project managers to coordinate activities

Advise and coach team members by providing guidance on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons learned

Organize resources within the organization

Identify and manage issues and risks, assuring appropriate resolution/escalation and mitigation strategies are documented and assigned and status tracked

Assist as a support contact for EHR analytics

Oversee and coordinate the triage of analytics needs and the corresponding build

Set overall build, security, and data segregation strategies

Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide Reporting Workbench and Radar security policies

Manage Report Workbench templates and create or authorize the creation of any new templates

Track Report Workbench template build

Coordinate technical implementation of overall data segregation strategy.

Work with analyst sponsors and EHR Program Manager to stand up and facilitate your data governance group

Establish and enforce processes, including request, triage, prioritization, testing, publishing, and validating data requests

Facilitate application and Cogito team communication to close gaps

Coordinate with the training team to ensure end-user comfort and happiness with data and tools

Establish a process for use of the Analytics Catalog and request tracker

Drive the analytics implementation to meet organizational goals and initiatives

Measure ongoing success of analytics after go-live and making necessary adjustments

Monitor team productivity and performance

Review upgrade documentation related to analytics tools and content and determining how to implement, disseminate, and train the changes

Deciding which reporting tools to use as new data needs arise, including but not limited to: Clarity and Caboodle reports; Extract Framework: Metrics; Benchmarking; Radar; Analytics Catalog Registry Framework and data marts; Reporting Workbench; SlicerDicer

Identify and troubleshoot issues

Serve as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic implementation staff

Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings

Work with Epic representatives, organization, and end users to ensure the system meets the organizations business needs

Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organizations workflows

Participate in training and work with end users

Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership

Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones

Required Skills

Epic implementation or operations support experience 8 Years

Health IT experience 8 Years

Demonstrated data analytics, report development experience 8 Years

Epic Certified in Cogito and completed Cogito Project Manager Training Track 5 Years

Familiarity with Epic tools: Cogito, Radar, Workbench Administration, Caboodle 5 Years

Project management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts 8 Years

Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability 8 Years

Demonstrated oral and written communication and presentation skills 8 Years

Experience with Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint 8 Year
