QC Lab Technician

GPS is hiring Q.C. Lab Technicians for immediate positions in Columbia, SC. Why You Should Apply:

Hours: 8:00 AM â 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Conduct chemical experiments and tests using techniques like gas chromatography and spectroscopy

Prepare chemical solutions and analyze solids, liquids, and gases for compliance

Monitor product quality and processing to meet standards

Maintain and clean lab equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace

Assist with plant raw material handling and maintain inventory

Inspect and prepare samples for shipment, following regulatory requirements

Record, compile, and interpret test results What Is Needed:

Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Associate's Degree in a related field

Experience:

Minimum: 1 year in a related role

Preferred: 3+ years in a similar position

Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication

Strong math skills and knowledge of wet lab chemistry

Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions

Safety First Attitude:

Follow all safety protocols, including wearing proper protective equipment

Maintain a clean workspace and report any unsafe conditions

Drug-free workplace and criminal background check required. EOE
