Certification as a Welding Inspector, such as the AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), or equivalent.
Minimum of 04 years of experience in welding inspection, with hands-on knowledge of various welding techniques.
Strong understanding of welding codes and standards (e.g., CSWIP 3.2.2 & API - 653/ 570, 510 & ASNT Level 2).
Solid understanding of mechanical and structural design drawings and specifications.
Ability to evaluate welding procedures, identify defects, and provide corrective action plans.
