House Supervisor
Description:
Assist with the development of a nursing culture conducive to encouraging personal and professional growth exceeding patient care expectations. Provides leadership by supervising daily patient care activities and ensuring that standards, policies and procedures are upheld. Assumes responsibility for quality patient care; assumes administrative responsibilities in absence of hospital administrative team. Responsible for utilizing independent judgment to inform or alert management.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN required or completed within 3 years
- Current licensure in State ofMissouri as a registered nurse
- Certification in applicable area preferred
- 1 year experience in specialty or related field
- BLS validation
- ACLS completed in 6 months
- Possesses strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Supervisory experience of one year or demonstrated leadership skills through committees, activities, or department participation which includes developing and monitoring goals and objectives preferred
- Demonstrate ability to effectively implement change in a positive, effective manner
