Job Title: Power BI Embedded Developer

Location: 100% Remote – EST time zone (Prefer East Coast candidates only)

Duration: 6+ Months + Extension

Hourly Rate: $DOE/Hour on CTC or W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Embedded Developer with 7+ years of experience in developing Power BI solutions and embedding dashboards/reports into web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI APIs, security management, performance optimization, and seamless integration with various programming languages and databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and embed Power BI dashboards and reports into web and mobile applications using Power BI Embedded APIs.

• Manage user access and security within Power BI Embedded environments, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.

• Optimize Power BI performance by troubleshooting and fine-tuning data models, queries, and dashboards for improved usability.

• Work with APIs and SDKs to integrate Power BI solutions with third-party applications.

• Ensure seamless authentication and authorization for Power BI Embedded solutions using Azure AD or other identity providers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI Embedded implementation and integration.

• Develop custom visualizations and interactive reports using Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M), and DAX.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure best practices in Power BI development, governance, and deployment.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Power BI Development & Embedding – Hands-on experience embedding Power BI dashboards into applications using Power BI Embedded APIs.

• Programming Languages – Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, or Python for seamless integration of Power BI solutions.

• Database Management – Strong expertise in SQL Server (experience with Cosmos DB is a plus).

• Power Query (M) & DAX – Deep understanding of data transformation and analytics within Power BI.

• Security & Access Control – Knowledge of Azure AD, Row-Level Security (RLS), and data protection policies in Power BI Embedded environments.

• Application Containerization – Familiarity with Docker for deploying containerized applications is a plus.

• Performance Optimization – Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI reports for enhanced performance.

• API & SDK Integration – Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with third-party applications using APIs.

• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting – Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in Power BI Embedded environments.
