We are currently hiring for several positions within our Before and/or After School Program for the 2024-25 school year at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors

PAY: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour (based on position, experience, and qualifications)

The Before and After-School Program team plays a key role in:

Leading engaging, hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, arts, and more, as well as assisting with homework.

Creating a safe, healthy, and fun atmosphere where children can grow and thrive. You’ll be an inspiring role model for the kids.

Maintaining communication with parents and family members via the Playground App to keep them updated on their child's day.

Adhering to state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the rules of the host school.

Some roles may involve management tasks such as taking accurate attendance, handling registrations, and overseeing staff.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You are 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

One year of experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but we’re more interested in your passion and potential!

Be ready to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, reference checks, and SEL & SCR through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.

You’ve been cleared by your doctor and are fit to perform all required duties, free from any communicable diseases, including TB.

You are friendly, approachable, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your strong suit, whether with kids, parents, or fellow team members. Additionally, you're professional, dependable, and punctual.

You’re ready to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs., and you’re prepared to stay active with energetic kids!
