We are seeking an enthusiastic Multi-Site Director for our Before and After School Programs within the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District.

JOB SUMMARY: As a vital member of our team, you will oversee several Healthy Kids Program locations, ensuring seamless operations and excellent service delivery. You’ll provide essential support to the Site Director, especially with staff management tasks, and step up as the main point of contact when the Site Director is absent. Your role will include consistent collaboration with staff to make informed decisions, resolve challenges, and develop strategies with a focus on achieving short-to-medium-term goals.

PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour

HOURS: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM / 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guiding Compliance: Ensure staff and the program follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.

Bringing the Fun: Lead engaging activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Don’t forget to help with homework – you'll be the ultimate homework champion!

Managing Like a Pro: Take charge of key management duties such as maintaining accurate attendance and registration records, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels for smooth operations.

Keeping Everyone Informed: Make sure communication with parents and families is consistent via the Playground App.

Team Collaboration: Regularly communicate with your direct report, keeping them informed about daily events and addressing any issues promptly. By working together as a unified team, we’ll provide high-quality care, create a positive work environment, and actively solve any challenges that arise.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field, plus two years of direct experience working with children under 13, including at least one year in a supervisory role in childcare or a related field.

OR an Associate’s degree in a related field, plus two years of direct experience working with children under 13, with at least one year in a supervisory position.

OR a New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential, plus two years of direct experience working with children under 13, including at least one year in a supervisory role.

OR a School-Age Child Care Credential (or a similar office-recognized credential specific to school-age children), plus two years of direct experience working with children under 13, including at least one year in a supervisory role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be prepared to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services.

You’ve received clearance from your doctor to perform all required duties and are free from any communicable diseases, including TB.

You’re warm, approachable, and upbeat. You excel at interacting with kids, parents, and team members. You’re also professional, dependable, and always punctual.

You’re physically ready to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs., and you can keep up with active kids!
