Sandblaster/ Powdercoater part-time

We are seeking a Part-Time Sandblaster / Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, sandblasting, and applying powder coatings to various metal components. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes

Perform sandblasting to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from metal surfaces. Pay is 17-25 depending on experience

Key responsibilities

Apply powder coatings using spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and adhesion.

Operate and maintain sandblasting and powder coating equipment.

Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.

Follow all safety guidelines and proper handling of materials.

Assist with cleaning, masking, and preparing parts for coating.

Requirements:

Some experience with sandblasting and/or powder coating preferred (training available).

Ability to work in a dusty and high-temperature environment.

Familiarity with industrial painting or coating processes is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

Commitment to workplace safety and following OSHA guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with industrial or automotive coatings.

Knowledge of proper surface preparation techniques.

Previous work in manufacturing, fabrication, or automotive refinishing.
