Description: Role-Sr. Backend Developer/Sr. Backend Developer Lead – .Net Core

Location: Houston, Texas - will work remote and at our Houston offices, flexible schedule...Hybrid schedule

• As a Sr. Backend Developer Lead at Client, you will be responsible for specializing in .Net Core in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our AI-powered workforce compliance SaaS platform.

• You will lead backend development initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems that support the functionality and performance of our products.

• Additionally, you will provide leadership by mentoring junior developers, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring the successful execution of backend projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in backend development, preferably within a SaaS environment. Experience in compliance, RegTech, or FinTech is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Specialization in .Net Core, Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET. Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, MongoDB).

• API Development: Strong experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and understanding of API design principles.

• Performance & Scalability: Ability to design and implement scalable systems that handle large volumes of data and high traffic.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
