Core Function of the Position
The Estimator will play a critical role in calculating project costs, determining timelines, and ensuring the financial success of our projects. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Identify labor, material, and time requirements to ensure accurate project budgeting and planning.
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather specific design and technical information.
Resolve discrepancies in project data by collecting and analyzing information to ensure accuracy.
Present comprehensive estimates and reports to support informed decision-making and enhance project profitability.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge of research, data analysis methods, and estimation formulas.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and IT skills, with proficiency in relevant software tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
