Position Overview:

NQE is seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join their team. In this role, the successful candidate will design, plan, and oversee the construction of various structures, ensuring their safety, durability, and compliance with Australian standards. The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design structures such as buildings and bridges using computer-aided design software.

-Perform calculations to assess loads and stresses on structural components.

-Select appropriate construction materials based on structural specifications.

-Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and construction teams.

-Ensure compliance with construction safety guidelines and building regulations.

-Monitor and inspect work undertaken by contractors to ensure quality and adherence to designs.

-Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines.

-Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

-Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.

-Proven experience as a Structural Engineer or in a similar role.

-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

-Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

-Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

-Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

-Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

-Project and budget management skills.
