Description
This position provides leadership and supervision to the international admissions and recruitment team in achieving the strategic international enrollment goals of the University. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Vice Provost in advancing internationalization efforts, including cultivating productive global partnerships, implementing MOU-based collaboration programs, and developing result-driven strategies for increasing the international student population through on-campus, online, and onsite enrollment.
Sponsorship is not available for staff positions. Final title and salary grade will be determined based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
Essential Job Duties
Lead the international admissions and recruitment teams efforts in developing annual international enrollment goals and benchmarks to ensure the long-term growth goals for international enrollment and recruitment are achieved;
Provide training, support, supervision, and mentorship to international admissions staff, including student staff, to ensure daily admission tasks are completed with quality and efficiency;
Manage, maintain, monitor goal accomplishment progress, and perform performance reviews of assigned staff;
Produce regular reports on international application and admission numbers and enrollment projections;
Develop reports to track admission numbers, assess marketing efforts, identify enrollment trends, and recruitment efforts;
Serve as the lead international admission officer and ensure timely and accurate processing of international student applications;
Represent the University both in person and through social media to prospective students, parents, UNA partner school representatives, international recruiting agents, and other individuals or organizations involved in the UNA application and admission process;
Counsel prospective applicants, partner school counterparts, and recruiting agents about distinctive academic program and scholarship opportunities;
Provide high-level services to prospective admission students and their families in a professional, friendly, and proactive manner;
Perform undergraduate and graduate admissions duties;
Perform evaluations of academic credentials to make admission determinations;
Assist in developing articulation models based on the needs of global partners and the strength of degree programs;
Assist in developing new and managing existing partnerships to strengthen global branding;
In collaboration with supervisor and departments, develop course maps, articulate credit transfers, and design pathway programs;
Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless transition through the I-20 and onboarding process of newly admitted students;
In collaboration with supervisor, conduct market analyses, identify high-demand markets, and manage marketing, communication, and market-entry strategies;
Develop, maintain, and update all recruitment and admission materials in print, online, and social media outlets while ensuring information accuracy;
Plan and implement recruitment strategies for assigned partner schools, agents, and territories;
Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of selected recruitment strategies for assigned staff;
Review new agent applications and make service contract recommendations after reference check;
Conduct training programs for new partner universities, feeder schools, and agents;
Conduct yield analysis of partner universities, feeder schools, and agents under contract;
Create and cultivate relationships with governmental, non-governmental, and international education organizations to broadly promote UNA online and on-campus programs, certificates, and micro-credentials;
Build relationships with US and international high school counselors and community colleges to create pipelines of freshmen enrollment;
Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required;
Master's degree is preferred;
Experience in international admissions and recruitment at the college level, required;
International living and working experience is preferred;

UNA provides all eligible employees with basic life insurance at no cost to the employee. The basic life coverage level is 1.5 times the covered employee's annual base salary with a maximum benefit of $400,000. Included with your basic life coverage is Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage at 3 times the covered employee's annual salary. The provider for this coverage is As a member of the, eligible employees have life benefits available through the TRS. Also, for eligible active employees, a death benefit of the payment of accrued sick leave is paid to the employee's beneficiary by the University.

Retirement Plans

UNA provides remission of tuition to eligible employees and to their spouses and qualified dependent children.
Paid Time Off
- Annual leave is accrued for each hour worked. During the first 2 years of employment, the accrual is 10 workdays. After completion of 2 years of continuous service, eligible employees are entitled to 12 days of annual leave and, for each additional year of service, annual leave is increased by one day per year to a maximum of 20 days after 10 years.
- Full-time regular staff members are entitled to 96 work hours (12 workdays) of sick leave each year at the employee's regular rate of pay regardless of length of service.
- Full-time, regular staff employees are eligible for paid holidays.
