Role Overview:

We are seeking a Power BI & Data Analyst Consultant to join our consulting team. In this client-facing role, you will be instrumental in client onboarding by designing insightful Power BI reports and managing data migration processes. Your strong analytical skills and business intelligence expertise will enable you to translate client needs into actionable data solutions. You will work both independently and as part of a project team, often managing multiple deadlines concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Reporting & Data Visualization:

Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to client business needs.

Gather and analyze reporting requirements to ensure client expectations are met.

Ensure data models and reporting solutions align with best practices for performance and usability.

Work on both custom client reporting requirements and reports that will become part of industry-specific reporting packages.

Data Migration & Transformation:

Plan and execute data migrations from legacy systems to FIELDBOSS within Dynamics 365 CE and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Assist with data migrations from prior versions of FIELDBOSS to the latest functionality when required.

Develop data mapping and transformation strategies for seamless integration that meets client and consultant requirements.

Perform data validation, cleanup, and optimization before system go-live.

Onboarding and Advancement Support:

Work collaboratively with project managers and consultants to support successful client onboarding projects.

Participate in planning engagements to identify client data and reporting needs.

Support advancement activities, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure smooth transitions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong expertise in Power BI, and report/dashboard development.

Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data validation.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or other CRM/ERP systems) is preferred.

Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

High level of customer service and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Helpful to Have / Will Train:

Experience with field service management software.

Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
