Steel Worker

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced Steel Worker for a large manufacturing client located in Maumee, OH. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: must train on 1st, have open availability to other shifts1st shift Monday - Friday- 7am - 3pm 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

3rd shift Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am

Responsibilities of the Steel worker:

Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production

Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects

Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company

Follow all company safety protocol

Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift

Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessionsPreferred Qualifications of the Steel Worker:

2+ years' experience using production machinery

Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required

Must possess strong basic math skills and measuring

Proven history of working with gauges, calipers and micrometers
