CAREGIVER

Responsibilities:

Childcare & Daily Assistance

• Supervise and care for the child in a safe and nurturing environment.

• Assist with feeding, dressing, and maintaining proper hygiene.

• Establish and maintain a daily routine, including mealtimes, homework, and playtime.

• Accompany the child to school, extracurricular activities, or playdates as needed.

Educational & Developmental Activities

• Engage the child in age-appropriate educational activities, including storytelling, reading, and creative play.

• Plan and organize recreational activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development.

• Assist with basic learning tasks such as early literacy, numbers, and language skills.

Household Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child.

• Maintain a clean and organized play area and living space.

• Ensure the child’s personal belongings are tidy and well-maintained.

Safety & Well-being

• Monitor the child's health and well-being, reporting any concerns to parents.

• Administer basic first aid if necessary and follow emergency procedures when needed.

• Teach and reinforce safety practices at home and in outdoor settings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience caring for young children preferred.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

• Ability to engage and interact with young children in a positive and encouraging manner.

• Responsible, reliable, and able to follow the parents’ instructions.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
