Immediate Hiring Need for a Calibration Lab Manager

Full Time $75K + Generous Benefits Package

We are looking for a talented Calibration Manager to join our team. You are crucial in various industries that rely on the accuracy of equipment, instruments, and machines. You will primarily oversee the calibration process, which ensures that tools and equipment used in processes provide accurate readings and results. You will also manage a team of calibration technicians and specialists, and assign them duties related to calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage calibration activities and staff

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of measurements

Maintain and improve calibration procedures and processes

Ensure all equipment is calibrated on schedule and in compliance with industry standards

Coordinate calibration efforts with other departments

Maintain calibration records and prepare reports as required

Identify and resolve calibration issues

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in calibration technology

Train staff on calibration methods and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Calibration Manager or similar role

In-depth knowledge of calibration standards and procedures

Ability to use Coordinate Measurement Machine(CMM)

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have

Zeiss and Calypso experience

CMM programming experience

Certification from a recognized calibration institute or military training
