Full Time Civil Engineering Technician

SALARY $75,000 + SUPERANNUATION

DUTIES

• Ensure that all construction and civil activities are planned and executed according to the approved plans and technical specifications.

• Estimating material costs and ensure the completed work adheres to design standards, regulations, and contract requirements.

• Monitoring material prices, labour expenses, and variation costs to ensure the project stays within budget.

• Review civil engineering plans and specifications to ensure scope of works and compliance by civil trades.

• Check construction and civil materials and review work plans to ensure accuracy, quality, and feasibility.

• Ensure accurate measurements, conduct precise calculations, and maintain proper documentation for tracking progress and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

• Manage, coordinate and supervise trades and services to ensure a well-defined scope of works and requirements of the project.

• Prepare accurate templates for bill of quantities, purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.

• Collaborate with managers and trades to address technical issues and ensure the successful execution of the project.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Relevant bachelor’s degree with focus in civil engineering

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
