Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Resources Engineer at Rennia Engineering Design located in Dover Plains, NY. The Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for managing water resource projects, analyzing stormwater systems, evaluating water quality, conducting hydrological studies, implementing stormwater management strategies, and construction oversite. Additionally the Water Resources Engineer should expect to be involved with small Dam design and permitting projects.

Qualifications

Water Resource Management and Hydrology skills

Stormwater and Stormwater Management expertise

Understanding of Water Quality principles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

General Proficiency with HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Well organized and self-motivated.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
