Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in San Diego, CA for a Cryptographic Test Engineer at Nathan Kunes Inc. The Cryptographic Test Engineer will be responsible for conducting cryptographic testing, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring the security of cryptographic systems.
Responsibilities include
Perform configuration and set up of cryptographic devices in a variety of network systems
Perform functional testing of devices
Develop test reports
Answer technical queries and assist Navy users
Create/Maintain documentation of system configuration
Qualifications
Proficiency in cryptographic algorithms and protocols
Experience with cryptographic testing tools and methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Certifications in cybersecurity or cryptography are a plus
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Government Crypto devices preferred
Strong writing skills
Salary
Commensurate with education/certifications and experience.
Education:
B.S. degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Clearance
A Must - United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD clearance
Current Active clearance preferred
