Job Description

The practice offers a diverse range of cases due to the fast-growing community and dynamic patient population in the area. The ideal candidate would be an experienced and skilled physician with training in Complex Family planning. This opportunity involves working closely with obstetric and gynecologic patients, including those with complex family planning needs.

OB/GYN Physician Job Responsibilities:

Physicians in this role function as OB/GYN Generalists

Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN practice

Provide medical care for patients seeking advanced family planning options

Conduct regular gynecologic exams

Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care

Manage high risk OB patients and/or consults with Maternal Fetal Medicine

Manage labor and delivery processes

Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions

Maintains a consultative relationship with multidisciplinary team

Additional Requirements:

Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN. Completion of Complex Family Planning Fellowship is strongly preferred.

Experience: successful completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.

Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
