Warehouse Worker/Laborer/Picker/Packer/Forklift Operator/Load/Unload

Primary job functions:

Operates forklift to move and stage materials.

Must be able to stack drums, super sacks and totes 3-high.

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Sweep warehouse floors

Operate floor machine

Unloading /Loading Dry Van Trailers

Basic Reading Skills Required

Basic Math Skills Required

Basic Writing Skills Required

Must be able to identify contents unloaded vs Bill of lading to ensure receipt is correct.

Verify PO’s, batch number(s), and weigh one container per batch

Visually check the delivery to ensure there are no damages

FIFO raw materials

Receive and document all UPS and FedEx deliveries

Unloading / Loading Chemical Tankers & Railcars

Requires climbing up and down ladders multiple times daily.

Requires lifting connection hoses multiple times daily.

Requires moving railcars manually.

Requires pulling samples.

Must comply with PPE Requirements.

Must follow all procedures and guidelines.

The operator will be monitoring a walkie-talkie, so clear communication is required to prevent a mishap

Computer Experience Preferred

Responsible for entering raw material receipts into SAP, along with other data entry requirements.

Responsible for shipping packages via FedEx and UPS

Requires getting DOT Hazmat certified.

Requires getting IATA certified.

Education / Experience:

High School diploma or GED

1+ years of industrial shipping and receiving experience.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in outdoor conditions (year-round) with moderate noise, both indoors and outdoors
