Medical Lab Technician (MLT)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our team in West Virginia. The MLT will perform laboratory tests, analyze specimens, and support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct medical laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, bacteriology, serology, parasitology, and blood banking.

Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment.

Collect, cultivate, isolate, and analyze specimens.

Cut, stain, and mount tissue sections for microscopic analysis.

Read and interpret physicians' or supervisor's orders for testing.

Explain test procedures to patients when applicable.

Maintain proper logs, files, and reports.

Requirements:

High school diploma (or equivalent) with one year of in-service training in an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant Program; OR

Two years of experience in a medical laboratory under supervision; OR

Associate degree from an accredited medical laboratory program.

West Virginia Clinical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Licensure and Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Experience with diagnostic lab equipment.

Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
