SPORTS LEADERSHIP DIRECTOR
National Expansion of Purpose Metric Program
### POSITION OVERVIEW
Voice Up Publishing Inc., in partnership with Oklahoma Wildcats Academy, is seeking a visionary Sports Leadership Director to spearhead the national expansion of our revolutionary Purpose Metric program. This pioneering role will be responsible for raising awareness about mental and behavioral health support among high school and college coaches across all sports, while implementing our transformative five-minute assessment tool that connects student-athletes to their deeper purpose.
As the Sports Leadership Director, you will be at the forefront of a global movement currently serving students spanning over 100 colleges and universities, helping to create a new paradigm where athletic development and mental wellbeing are seamlessly integrated to develop future leaders, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- **Strategic Expansion:** Develop and execute a comprehensive national expansion strategy to introduce the Purpose Metric assessment tool to high school and collegiate athletic departments across the country.
- **Relationship Building:** Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with athletic directors, coaches, and sports leadership organizations to facilitate program adoption.
- **Implementation Support:** Guide athletic programs through the successful implementation of the Purpose Metric assessment, including training coaches on interpreting data visualizations and facilitating purpose-driven coaching conversations.
- **Educational Outreach:** Conduct workshops, webinars, and presentations that raise awareness about the critical connection between mental health, purpose development, and athletic performance.
- **Cross-Sector Collaboration:** Work across educational and business sectors to create a cohesive approach to purpose-driven development for student-athletes.
- **Impact Measurement:** Track adoption metrics, collect testimonials, and document success stories to demonstrate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
- **Program Adaptation:** Collaborate with the Voice Up team to adapt the Purpose Metric framework for various sports contexts while maintaining the integrity of its core principles.
### QUALIFICATIONS
- **Experience:** Minimum 5+ years in sports leadership, athletic administration, coaching, or related field with demonstrated success in program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Sports Administration, Educational Leadership, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- **Industry Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the athletic ecosystem at both high school and collegiate levels, including current challenges in student-athlete development and mental health.
- **Communication Skills:** Exceptional ability to articulate complex concepts about mental health and purpose development to diverse audiences, from coaching staffs to administrative leadership.
- **Project Management:** Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting strategic objectives.
- **Technical Aptitude:** Comfort with data visualization tools and ability to interpret and explain assessment data in meaningful ways.
- **Network:** Strong existing network of coaches and athletic colleagues across the nation who are familiar with and trust the candidate's point of view and professional judgment. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage these established relationships to accelerate program adoption.
- **Travel Capability:** Willingness to travel extensively to meet with athletic departments, attend conferences, and conduct on-site implementations.
