Description
The Sales Specialist is pivotal in driving market presence and sales within assigned territories through strategic distributor and key account management. This role is responsible for developing and strengthening business relationships, executing trade marketing strategies, and conducting market analysis to support decision-making and strategic sales planning.
Language Required: English, Chavacano. This role is based in Mindanao area (remote + field work)
Distributor and Key Account Management:
Develop and maintain robust relationships with distributors and key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and they are kept up-to-date with PD products and innovations.
Strategize and implement value-creating initiatives with key trade accounts to enhance business growth and brand loyalty.
Trade Marketing and Promotions:
Coordinate and execute trade promotions and ensure the availability of POS materials and promotional support together with Marketing Promotions to enhance visibility and sales.
Visit projects and trade accounts to promote PD products, increasing brand presence and market penetration.
Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market, customer, and competitor analyses to gather insights that inform sales strategies and product positioning together with Market Research.
Regularly report on market trends, competitor activities, and the effectiveness of sales strategies to the Sales Supervisor and Manager.
Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, market data, and promotional efforts to ensure alignment with strategic sales goals.
Manage and report expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Minimum one year of experience in trade marketing, with a strong background in distributor and key account management, preferably within the electrical or related industries.
OTHERS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in all MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Capable of making informed decisions regarding day-to-day sales and marketing tasks based on established policies and guidelines. Focuses on operational efficiency and effective response to immediate market conditions.
Demonstrate fundamental knowledge in distributor management and basic market analysis techniques to support effective sales operations within the assigned territory.
Shows diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Committed to ethical practices and professionalism in all customer interactions.
