Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the Primary Investigator and project team to develop program plans and ensure that they align with project goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain a project timeline and ensure that project activities are completed on time and within budget.

Provide supervision and support to the Graduate Assistant to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and contributing to the success of the program.

Coordinate project meetings and provide regular updates to the Primary Investigator and project team on progress and challenges.

Manage project logistics, including scheduling and organizing training sessions, securing training materials, and monitoring attendance.

Monitor and track program budgets and expenses to ensure that they align with project plans and objectives.

Collaborate with the program evaluator to ensure that all data collection requirements are met, and data is collected and submitted in a timely and accurate manner.

Assist in data analysis and reporting to evaluate the impact of program activities on participants and the broader community.

Provide logistical support to the program evaluator during site visits or data collection events.

Work with the program team and external evaluator to produce articles and presentations for dissemination at conferences and in academic journals.

Coordinate outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and engage potential program participants, including school counselors-in-training of color.

Plan and facilitate program events, such as trainings, workshops, and conferences, to promote the program and increase awareness of the importance of school-based mental health services.

Serve as a liaison between the program team and partner organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment with program goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain project databases and files to ensure data is organized and easily accessible to the project team and program evaluator.

Assist with drafting and submitting grant proposals and reports to secure additional funding for the program.

Manage program logistics, including ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for project team members.

Other duties as assigned by the Primary Investigator. Minimum Qualifications

These are the job duties for required of the position

Education

High School diploma or GED required.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a mental health or education-related field

Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders.

Experience with data collection and management. Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Knowledge of mental health services and related issues in schools

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Ability to supervise and provide support to others

Proficiency in data collection, management, and analysis

Ability to plan and facilitate events and trainings

Knowledge of grant writing and proposal development Conditions of Employment

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some travel to project sites or meetings.
