Work Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Eastern Time, Monday-Friday

Floor Plus More is a locally owned and operated business with three convenient locations dedicated to serving both homeowners and flooring contractors. We offer an extensive range of high-quality pre-finished and unfinished hardwood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring(LVP), and engineered wood flooring.

We are looking for a person who can handle the physical aspects of the job, have good customer service skills when dealing with the customer on deliveries and can operate a forklift and have a good understanding of how to organize a warehouse and receiving inventory, deliver inventory and basic inventory management. We are willing to train for the person with the right attitude and willingness to learn and work.

• Select inventory for delivery and pull and bring to loading dock door with inside forklift and then load flatbed truck with the outside forklift

• Balance the load on flatbed truck (5 speed) and secure safely with straps for delivery

• Drive the load to customer site and unload by hand and bring inside building or house

• Take appropriate pictures and get delivery documents signed per policy

• Upon receiving material from mills and manufacturer, check deliveries to make sure they are in good shape and as noted on the manifest

• Record deliveries and maintain our inventory with computer systems

• Pull merchandise from warehouse or showroom floor and prepare for delivery

• Load and unload vehicles

• Handle materials within the warehouse and to/from the loading area

• Maintain warehouse and showroom cleanliness

• Update inventory records

• Operate forklift to move merchandise

• Work with Sales Manager to ensure all policies and guidelines are being followed

• Observe all safety and security procedures

• Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

• Must be able to drive a 5-speed flatbed truck

• Has forklift experience

• Ability to push, pull, and lift materials up to 70 pounds

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and communicate numerical data

• Ability to calculate simple figures and amounts

• Has strong work ethic

• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
