Project Manager

Scott Electric has a current opening at our Youngwood, PA, branch for a Full-Time Entry Level Project Manager in the Commercial Lighting division.

Candidates must have an aptitude for math and customer service, and also be detail-oriented with organizational skills. The position requires a highly motivated person, a self-starter with excellent time-management abilities. This position requires a long-term commitment to developing knowledge in the lighting industry. You must have strong communication skills and be able to work in a highly stressful environment, dealing with a very competitive industry.

Requirements:

Advanced math skills are necessary to ensure the accuracy of change orders, billings, lot job reconciling, and maintaining profit levels

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you will be required to converse on a knowledgeable level with Electricians, Vendor Reps, and General Contractors.

Excellent planning and organizational skills are necessary to deal with construction schedules, expedite orders, and meet deadlines.

Calm and professional demeanor when handling stressful situations

Must be a team player with the confidence to work independently

Critical thinking skills are required to achieve the best problem resolution for customers and the company

Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment

Effective and efficient time and task management

Ability to multitask with keen attention to detail

Customer service and sales enthusiasm

Good track record of maintaining and managing excellent performance

Microsoft Office expertise Must pass background check and drug screening
