Pivot Bio is looking for experienced Forklift Operators who will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting inventory. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and will be required to perform load, unload, pick up, and put away duties. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down and/or stand-up vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight

• Move materials to different locations within the facility

• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand

• Secure loads to the machine before movement

• Pick and wrap orders for shipment

• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies

• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments and inventory movements

• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies

• Inspect, operate, and maintain vehicles

• Identify and communicate workplace safety hazards

• Adhere to safety management standards and OSHA/ANSI Compliant policies

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old

• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and handheld scanners

• Experience loading and unloading trailers

• Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication (English/Spanish Bilingual Preferred)

Physical Demands:

• This job requires the ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
