Project Manager- pmp

Need of a Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with one of direct clients in Richmond, VA.

Role: Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: Long term

Rate: $Market All Inclusive

*This is a hybrid position, 3 days per week will work on site.

*Active PMP cert is required

Responsibilities:Provide project management support, specifically agile, for the TPL case management system and/or multiple PMO initiatives.

Manage Full Project Lifecycle - Planning, Execution & Controlling, Reporting, Closeout for Information Technology (IT) projects and Business projects.

Manage Project Schedules and Budgets based on executive management and business Subject Matter Expert (SME) input.

Manage Stakeholder Communications and Expectations, including incorporating changes in direction by executive and senior management.

Create presentations, dashboards, workflows and user stories as needed.

Manage vendors and deliverables, including escalating project issues.

Manage and/or perform requirement development. Execute testing of requirements as needed.

Manage project risks and issues; keep management informed as necessary.

Required Skills:5 Years - Experience managing stakeholders and leading project teams

5 Years - Advanced knowledge and experience in using MS project

8 Years - Advanced knowledge of using PowerPoint and Excel to analyze data and produce dashboards

3 Years - Experience in leading Waterfall and Agile projects

2 Years - Advanced knowledge of MS Visio or workflow software

Active PMP certification

Desired of working in the Medicaid or Managed Care Organizations
