As the Project Manager you will lead and organize project status, deliverable review, and sprint meetings with both internal and external team members and clients.
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead IT projects. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, backlog, and project success measures are fully understood and delivered by the project team
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project
Build strong account-based relationships across multiple client stakeholders
Consult on client-facing problems and provide the necessary technical, commercial, and soft skills support to ensure excellent client relationships
Create and maintain project plans using prescribed tools
Approve project resource timesheets
Create, manage, and distribute the necessary project communications artifacts
Collaborate with offshore resources to assign and ensure completion of project tasks, resources, and deliverables
Lead and organize project status, deliverable review, and sprint meetings with both internal and external team members and clients
Regularly communicate with management, customers, team members, and stakeholders, proactively seeking and addressing customer and team feedback
Manage and motivate the project team
Resolve technical and operational issues as required
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or related areas of study
7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services
Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing and internal-facing products or services
PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization
Proficient in various project management frameworks, such as Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid
Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong understanding of current project tracking, communication, and project management technologies
Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Experience with software development methodologies, such as DevOps
Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
Ability to lead meetings, with proven knowledge of how to improve attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups
Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Willingness to mentor junior team members and share knowledge
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
