Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.

Ability to adapt interpreting styles to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to facilitate student learning and communication.

Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as required.

Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all aspects of interpretation.
