Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for repairing dies using manual mills, prototrack, manual lathes, CNC machines, wire EDM machines, Blanchard grinders, saws, and welders. Your role will involve MIG and TIG welding, troubleshooting, and repairing dies in a stamping environment. You will handle dies ranging from 150 tons to 2800 tons, build tools per work instructions and prints, and conduct tool and die repairs on progressive and transfer dies. Additionally, you will troubleshoot dies both from machines and on the bench.

Responsibilities

Repair dies using manual mills, prototrack, manual lathes, CNC machines, wire EDM machines, Blanchard grinders, saws, and welders.

Perform MIG and TIG welding.

Troubleshoot and repair dies ranging from 150 tons to 2800 tons.

Build tools per work instructions and prints.

Conduct tool and die repairs on progressive and transfer dies.

Troubleshoot dies both from machines and on the bench.Essential Skills

At least 5 years of tool and die experience.

Ability to operate manual machines and CNC machines.

Proficient in reading blueprints.

Basic welding skills, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding.

Must have own hand tools.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.60 - $34.70/hr.
