Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will have the opportunity to work in various positions such as paint line, laser operator, and metal finishing. Each role offers unique challenges and the chance to develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines, including 4 fiber lasers with 6000-watt capacity. Experience in machine operation is advantageous, but training is available.

Work in the paint booth, handling painting and powder coating of metal products at a pace of one metal bar per minute. Collaborate with the paint supervisor and adhere to safety protocols.

Perform metal finishing tasks, including sanding, polishing, and smoothing metal bars to ensure top condition. Utilize hand and power tools, with a preference for experience in grinding and sanding metal products.Essential Skills

Experience or willingness to learn laser operation and machining skills.

Knowledge of powder coating and paint booth operations.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools for metal finishing.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CNC, assembly, machine operation, and general production.

Ability to read blueprints and perform paint prep tasks.

Work Environment

The work area is not climate-controlled, and may get warmer during summer months, particularly when operating machines. Employees will be on their feet throughout the day, and hard work is valued. Safety equipment is provided to ensure a secure working environment.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
