Job Description
This position involves operating the toting stations, filling super sacks with oatmeal and other grain ingredients to be sent to customers for use in popular products. After filling and removing the supersack from the tote station using a forklift, you will enter the product into inventory using the warehouse information system, print labels for tracking, and transport the labeled, tied, and stretch-wrapped supersack to the warehouse for temporary storage. During intervals between tasks, you will organize supplies, check magnets for foreign material, perform quality checks, and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Responsibilities
Operate toting stations and fill super sacks with grain ingredients.
Use forklifts to transport supersacks from tote stations.
Enter products into inventory using warehouse information systems.
Print and apply labels for tracking purposes.
Organize supplies and check magnets for foreign materials.
Perform quality checks and maintain work area cleanliness.
Store supersacks in drive-through industrial racks.
Load bulk trailers with oatmeal and oat flour.
Assist mill operators as needed.
Communicate effectively and work as a team member.
Adhere to safety policies and good manufacturing practices.Essential Skills
Experience in production and general labor.
Proficiency in assembly and machine operation.
Forklift and drive-through rack experience preferred.
Ability to handle packaging, inspection, and load tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Basic math skills.

Work Environment
Work involves exposure to small grains and grain dust, with tasks performed outdoors for the majority of the day, depending on position. Some tasks require working indoors and at heights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Ansgar, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
